♥'Thursday, January 8, 2009 Just because I have many friends, and apparently they are from the "Popular" side of the class as you presume, you say that I henceforth shall discard you as I have now moved on to the "popular" caste in the classroom. Just because I want to spend time with my different friends, which apparently, I have many different friends, unlike you who just sticks to one stereotype, doesn't mean I want to abandon you and move on. Doesn't mean I think like those "popular" people now. You see, I can see no popular people and not-popular people, and that is why I don't get you. They are just different, and being different is not a crime. You accuse me of being a friend hopper, of becoming your friend just so you could have them before moving off to the "popular" section. Perhaps you never realised that I was still always there for you, and tried to help you too. Maybe it seemed like I abandoned you because you were focusing on the times I was not there, not on the times that I truely was there. I don't understand how you can accuse my friend, who apparently, remains so, because of the way she deals with me having a mixed group of friends, of making me as her friend, solely because she, too, wants to be in the "popular" side. For every day since you said that, I want to give you a punch in the jaw, so hopefully you never say anything like it, ever again. As for the "popular" people and the "non-popular" people, I don't understand why we have this system in the damned class. I don't see no system, I don't see no reason why you shouldn't talk to each other or do project work with each other. Because of your attitudes, these "non-popular" people have come to hate you. How do I know this? Because I have friends from each of your little "groups" So finally, I'd like to say that, if you ever, accuse me of abandoning you, just think of how many times I've attempted to talk to you, and you respond with a uninterested sigh, and a cannot-be-bothered "hi." Am I really the type of person who would befriend someone just to gain status? Am I really the type of person who casts of old "not popular" friends because I'm with the "popular" ones? Yeah, that's it, think. I cannot stand this "popular" and "non-popular" thing anymore, it's driving me nuts, it's driving me insane, and I am not afraid to show how I feel about it, outside the computer screen. I mean it. |
